During the last few months we have been very busy. Our different groups have particularly enjoyed their topics.
Dinosaurs topic
The whale group loved our dinosaur topic and made their own dinosaur land.
We made our own volcano by adding vinegar to washing up liquid and baking powder. We were all amazed by what happened.
Water topic
The dolphins had fun experimenting with objects to see if they floated or sank. They also made some lovely wax resistant pictures.
Growing topic
The starfish group planted their own sunflower seeds and have been learning how to look after their plants. They walked around our garden and identified the different spring flowers.
Gardening time with Chris
Chris kindly came in to show the children all the gardening tools and how they work. He brought some lettuces with him and planted them in our garden for us. (pic of chris with children)
Story time
Hatties dad brought some of Hatties favourite stories to read to all the children. It was such a lovely day he read the stories in the garden. A big thank you the children loved it.
