Each child made a valentine card for their family.  Then we walked into the village with parents, dads and grandmas to post them in the village post-box.  The children couldn’t believe seeing their cards come through their front doors.

We have also celebrated Pancake Day. We made pancakes, tossed them and ate them.  We were very lucky to have Manraj’s grandma come into Coogee to make chapatis with the children.  They loved it.  So did the staff because we had homemade chicken curry and rice with our chapatis.

We have a lovely Chinese take away restaurant in our role play area.  We performed a dragon dance and ate noodles with chopsticks to celebrate Chinese New Year.
